What Makes a Natural Bar Soap Different
Natural soap bars leave your skin feeling soft and moisturized after you rinse. Most store bought soap bars are made with harsh detergents, synthetic cleansers, and artificial fragrances that can irritate sensitive skin.
Every bar is made by hand in small batches, so no two come out exactly alike. And we never cut corners on ingredient quality: you'll find words you can actually read on our labels, not tongue twisters like tetrasodium etidronate.
Handmade Soap with Grass Fed Tallow and Goat Milk
Our handmade soap starts with simple, nourishing ingredients, and each bar has its own mix. Most are made with grass fed and grass finished beef tallow, the same ingredient behind our best selling balms, sourced from regenerative American family farms and rendered low and slow in our own studio. Tallow gives a bar a firm body and a rich, creamy lather.
Depending on the bar, you'll find ingredients like raw goat milk, oats, honey, clays, and olive oil, so there's an all natural bar soap for everyone in the family. The Wilmoth family has made every bar in central Virginia since 2016, in the same studio behind more than one million jars of tallow balm.
