There are very few bar soaps I can use on my sensitive, extra-dry but acne- prone 65+ year old skin. I've tried dozens and they all ended up as body bars. I LOVE this soap. It doesn't dry, not at all, didn't irritate, and didn't break me out! Does it foam up like crazy like soaps with irritating sulfates like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) do? No, and I'm glad, as those extra bubbles come at the expense of your skin's delicate mantle. The lather was just right, creamy, soft, and generous enough to work in. It rinsed clean, and my skin was soft, NOT stripped like every charcoal soap I've tried.

First of all, this bar of soap is basically the size of two. This was my first from this brand and the price makes sense. One bar of Chimney Sweep soap has lasted me over 9 months! I use it in the shower for face, pits, and privates, but in Florida, that's been a couple showers a day for the hot part of the year. It's clean without feeling drying to my middle-aged skin.
