I love this lavender whipped tallow balm! It’s so smooth & creamy! The scent is light & relaxing. I use this one at night after I’ve washed my face. It calms & relaxes me & leaves my skin feeling perfectly moisturized.

I ordered the large lavender tallow balm, I received it very quickly. Unfortunately it looked like the mailman had kicked it all the way down the drive. I let hearth and homestead know the condition of my product and sent a picture. They were in incredible, sent me a replacement the very next day! The customer service is top notch and the product itself is amazing, I won’t use anything else on my face except for their tallow balm!!

Found you guys on Amazon. Started off with one small jar, which grew to multiple small jars, jars for gifts, etc. Until I found your website. Bought the large jars that is the subject of this review. Whipped, lavender goodness. I rub a small amount into my hands to soften them before then rubbing what’s on my hands onto my face. It’s the perfect amount and not at all greasy. It’s easy to get too much otherwise. Absolutely love the scent. It’s lavender perfection. I feel confident others are out there, maybe even equally effective. My almost 68-year-old self likes this one, so I’ll stay where I’m at!! Made in America, family farm, making small batches right here. You have yourselves a happy customer with this WV girl.

Absolutely love this. It’s hard to find products for aging skin. It appears to be really thick but it goes on smooth and absorbs well. I notice improvement with my skin within days. The lavender smell is strong but it’s. Natural scent. Excellent product. I have sensitive skin but I had zero reaction.

This tallow has completely changed my skin. I had sun spots across my hair line which have completely disappeared. I also use to have breakouts on my face and chest and I haven’t had any since I started using this over a year ago. It’s by far the best face product I have ever used, and I have spent SO much money over the past 20+ years trying to find a product that will do all this has done for me. I will be 40 next year and my skin is the clearest and softest it’s ever been. I feel like I am aging backwards, all because of this tallow.

I love this tallow, the effects and the smell!

First time I've ever tried tallow. It really does smell like lavender. I was afraid i'd smell like pork chop or something. I feel as though it has plumped my neck skin a bit. It has certainly helped my dry hands. I'm always happy to purchase from American small businesses.

This is my first time trying the tallow cream, and I really do like it. The scent is literally perfect! It's a little greasy at first, but soaks in relatively quickly. Will definitely buy again!

I am leaving 4 stars, only because the lavendar fragrance was a disappointment. The best way I can describe it is 'sharp.'. I do detect lavendar in the fragrance, but it is substantially buried by the sharpness. Perhaps all it needs is less lavendar to soften the fragrance. You will know best.. That being said, I LOVE your product. This is my second purchase of whipped tallow. I first tried butter almond, which has a perfectly balanced fragrance. The only reason I switched is because lavendar is my all time favorite color & fragrance. The tallow itself is wonderful. I started conservatively on my face, but as the winter weather worsened, I added more, & with great results & no breakouts. My face is soft as silk & non-greasy. Most likely I will return to butter almond next order, but the lavendar works just fine & the fragrance is certainly ok to use.

Love your skincare balms and butters. You should name the company “Skin so Soft!” Also, you have unique and interesting bar soaps. I get tired of retail, warehouse type soaps. Thank you for your great quality, artful products!
